I’ve heard a few rumors of an auto plant coming to either Peachtree City or Fairburn and I was wondering if anyone knew anything else about this. I know the Kia plant is in West Point already I was just curious about a new one.
I’m in 8th grade, but since I’m going to high school I’ve been thinking about possible careers. So how much would a dentist make in Sandy Springs, Georgia? Also, what are some dental schools in Atlanta/Georgia?
I have a past here in MA that is good and bittersweet but I feel like it is weighing me down.
I don’ t like that there is not much diversity in my town.
I feel like I am missing out on other things by staying here. I’ve been in this same state (MA) for 25 years.
I really want to move to the big apple and I most likely will. People on here are telling me to stay put but I want to go. I think it is mostly because I have a small child who is 6. They say I am living in a fantasy world and to stop daydreaming and that my life will be the same in the big apple as it is now in Boston.
Something keeps pulling me towards the Big Apple and I have been eyeing the move for about 3 years now. My mom will move out there with me. I have a lot of family in Boston (I see them maybe once or twice a year.)
I still live at home and I feel like I should branch out before (God forbid) anything happens to my mother and for some reason I can’t find away to be independent and function by myself. I need to start life on my own with my daughter.
Then comes the issue with money, they say it;s too pricey but I will work and I don’t want to live in Manhattan or anything.
I just feel like I am missing out on something. Boston feels like my old home. I want to build life over somewhere else. I could easily stay here and never move. I have extended family here that my daughter loves and she could see them on a regular basis. The schools are good out here and I can continue my education in the fall. If I move to NYC I will have to wait a year to finish school so that I qualify for instate tuition. I know Boston and the North Shore well so I can navigate easily etc…
I really want to go to a certain college in New York City because of the program.
Is it wrong to just want to get away and see what I can make with the rest of my life, out life?
I wanted to move to "the big apple" because of the diversity and opportunity (media.) My child is into the arts and entertainment and I figure what better place to put her than in NYC.
How do I know if I am running away? How do I know if I should just stay here?
I look at my whole entire family and only about 25% of them have moved away and started life elsewhere, one distant cousin lives in Texas and two others live in Atlanta and the rest are still here in Boston.
My mother is the one that told me to go, she supports me. She was a model back then and was offered to go to New York for a contract but turned it down to take care of her mother and she says she wishes she never did that. She regrets doing that. So she stands by me and says if I don’t leave now I never will.
Any thoughts Boston Follks?
I planned on surprising my best(est lol) friend in Atlanta this spring. I’m doing my research and all that good stuff, but when it came to the hotels, I got stuck between two. Which would you prefer: spending a week at Embassy Suites or Extended Stay?
I’m traveling on a shoestring budget & will be staying at one of these three hotels this weekend. I have done a ton of searching for hotels in the area, so I’m not really looking for other recommendations. Can anyone advise on whether these are safe locations?
Extended Stay Clairmont – Atlanta (3115 Clairmont Rd)
Homestead Atlanta – Marietta (2239 Powers Ferry Road)
Cobb Galleria Inn -Smyrna (2855 Spring Hill Pkwy SE)
My uncle works for Coke and got free tickets for Six Flags tomorrow and my friends and I are going. I was just wondering if it’s usually busy during September weekends which is near the end of the season
(not including labor day weekend).
I was just wondering because I really want to get a hoodie from there and my daddy refuses to take me to Columbus … So if there is please let me know ! Thanks ! ~ally
